Monico Movies: A rather long intermission!

October was our anniversary month and we should have been flinging open the doors to Canolfan and throwing a great big party with fizz, food and fabulous film to celebrate our 5th Birthday with our wonderful audiences.

Unfortunately, with restrictions still in place, we’re unable to celebrate to thank our audiences and box offices for their support, but celebrate we will when it’s safe and sensible to do so.

We really miss getting together with the community, welcoming everyone in and settling down in a great atmosphere with a great film. In the 5 years, we’ve enjoyed over 50 feature films with over 3,000 people.

So, until we can dust off the big screen, turn on the projector and pile up the usherette’s tray with ice-cream and welcome everyone back to Rhiwbina’s Community Cinema, we hope everyone takes care and stays safe.
