Reaching new customers can be a huge challenge, especially in today’s economic climate. We have now opened up our Rhiwbina Community News Facebook group to small businesses who’d like to reach the Rhiwbina community.

We have been promoting businesses within the Rhiwbina community since 2007, both in our award-winning magazines, and through our social media channels. We are now offering you the chance to post to our Facebook group, which has over 4,500 members. Until now, this has only been available to advertisers who feature in our magazines.

In our experience, managing an online community can be a difficult business.

We have spent years building our Rhiwbina Community News Facebook group, keeping strict control over its content to keep our page clean and relevant.

As such, we have restricted posts to our own news, plus given pre-approval to our current advertisers in our magazines to post details of their business. 

We are aware that other small businesses need support during the current economic climate so we are now opening up our Facebook page to posts from businesses other than those who feature in our magazines. This decision was taken after consulting a vote of group members, who voted in favour of allowing other businesses to post.

This means that we will have to dedicate more man hours to moderate the group, which of course, takes time. As a small Cardiff business ourselves, we need to make sure that we can provide the service that we offer. Charging a fee will also filter out those who simply want to spam Facebook groups.

We have currently set a limit of one post per day from each Facebook profile.

Yes, you can. Posts must not be misleading and we reserve the right to not approve posts that we think might be unsuitable. 

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. We will provide you with a link to do so when you subscribe. You can also cancel by emailing us. No refunds or part-refunds will be offered.

We are a registered VAT business and by law, we need to charge VAT on all our servces.

  1. Each user is entitled to post to the group once a day. A post can include images to accompany the post, plus a link to your website.
  2. Posts must not be misleading or deceiving.
  3. Each post will be moderated before being posted. We reserve the right to not publish any content that we consider to be unsuitable. We will endeavour to approve posts as quickly as possible but there may be times when we are not available to do so.
  4. You can cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us in writing. We will provide you with a link for cancellation when you subscribe. No refunds or part-refunds will be offered.
  5. We reserve the right to cancel any subscription if the content violates our T&Cs. No refunds will be provided.
  6. Our Terms And Conditions can be updated at any time.
