The new Llandaff North and Gabalfa Hub opens this week, providing the local community with more and better services and facilities on their doorstep.

The former Llandaff North Library and Day Centre have been completely refurbished and re-designed to create the hub which brings services together to meet the needs and priorities of the community while making it easier and more convenient for customers to engage with the City Council.

Customers at the new hub will be able to access advice services as well as the library, with children’s area, Into Work advice, an IT suite and community café. There are also meeting and interview rooms and a community hall available for local groups and organisations to use.

The Llandaff North and Gabalfa Hub will open its doors on Thursday, January 12 at 10am.

Cabinet Member for Community Development, Co-operatives and Social Enterprise, Cllr Peter Bradbury, said:

“Another hub opening in Cardiff means yet another part of the city benefiting from access to more services in their local community. Our hubs programme has made a real difference to the communities where we have established these ‘one-stop shop’ facilities. The new hub looks great and I am confident the people living in the areas will be impressed with everything on offer there.”
