Beulah URC: Welcoming you into Spring

Beulah-URC

Beulah United Reformed Church is privileged to be at the heart of Rhiwbina and North Cardiff: ‘serving and singing at the crossroads’.

Since 1849, we have been caring for the community that we are so glad to be a part of. In these challenging and changing times, we welcome everyone with warmth and light.

Following a period during the pandemic when our buildings were not open and we held worship online, we are now pleased to invite you to join us for our family service in church every Sunday at 10:30am, and for coffee in the Canolfan Community Centre afterwards. There’s no need to book – please just come along.

We have a range of Junior Church activities for children up to 14 and young people up to 18, which are open to all. We also livestream all of our Sunday services on the internet for those who are not able to join us. Please get in touch via email to secretary@beuahurc.org.uk for further details of all of these.

The refurbished Whittaker Lounge Café, at the far end of our church building and next to Nest, will once again be open on a Friday and Saturday morning at 10am and Miss Tilley’s Community Café will likewise be opening in the Whittaker Lounge from 10am on a Monday and Tuesday morning. Please do join us for a cappuccino, cake and a chat!

Our Canolfan community centre is open fully again and we are so glad that many of our groups have now been able to resume their activities and meetings.

The Canolfan garden is open daily to the community throughout the year – please do come for a visit. It’s a place to pause and reflect, away from the bustle of the village. You can access it from the Canolfan driveway on Pantbach Rd/Heol y Deri (between the Canolfan and the former bank site).

If you are on Facebook, we have a FaceBook page: www.facebook.com/BeulahURC and website: www.beulahurc.org.uk where you can find out more about our activities, including our environmental initiatives, our music and art and our charity fundraising and campaigning for fairness and justice in our world.

We are also pleased to be able to host organisations including Miss Tilley’s, Mens’ Sheds and the Monico Movies. Please do get in touch if you are interested in joining in or would like to find out more.

Our Ministers are Martha McInnes and David Dean and they can be contacted on ministers@beulahurc.org.uk.
