As the gloomy autumn nights close in around us, Rhiwbina’s much-loved boutique Calon Rhiwbeina is hosting a season of fashion shows to bring colour and warmth to the village.
Calon Rhiwbeina owner Kath Smith told Rhiwbina Living:
“This season, we’re hosting a series of fashion shows to showcase our new collections.
“Our shows promise a relaxed and fun way to spend a couple of hours, while helping to raise money for a good cause at the same time. Our models are real women, of all ages and shapes, who have kindly volunteered to bring our collections to life – and help inspire your next wardrobe for the coming seasons.”
Tickets cost £10 each and this includes a drink or two of your choice – fizzy or soft drink.
“The best part is that if you keep your ticket and bring it in-store on Lôn Fach, you’ll receive 10% off your purchases in-store,” added Kath.
This season’s shows are as follows:
Canolfan Beulah (Rhiwbina)
27th October for Gwyl Cerdd Dant (Cymraeg)
Whitchurch Golf Club
31st October for Operation Smile
Canolfan Garth Olwg (Pontypridd)
16th November for Eisteddfod Genedlaethol 2024
“October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and the show on October 13th marked the 20th anniversary of Cardiff & Vale Breastfriends, which is a support group for those with breast cancer,” said Kath.
Tickets for the shows are available from Calon Rhiwbeina on Lôn Fach in the heart of Rhiwbina village.
