Rhiwbina RFC Golf Day at Whitchurch Golf Club

Rhiwbina RFC held its annual golf day for the first time this year at Whitchurch Golf Club on August 25th.
Sixty eight golfers took part in what turned out to be a very competitive team event, with a four-man team from Freight Movement Ltd taking the team prize. In the evening there was a presentation dinner at the golf club with former champion boxer Nicky Piper MBE as guest speaker. Nicky is corporate funding manager for the George Thomas Hospice, and Rhiwbina RFC presented him with a cheque for his charity. All funds raised on the day will go to support the development of community rugby at Rhiwbina RFC.
