Game On Wales and the Wales Supporters charity Gôl! Cymru have teamed up to organise a fundraising tournament ahead of the Wales National Football team’s historic Euro 2016 campaign.

Gôl! is the Welsh Football Supporters Charity, who aim to help under-privileged children, both home and abroad whenever the Welsh National Football Team play. Formed in 2002, Gôl has helped children’s hospitals and schools, in more than 20 countries. Gôl! will again be active during the European Championship finals in Bordeaux, Lens and Toulouse in France where the national team is playing.

Game On Wales are a social inclusion project that uses sport to engage people from disadvantaged communities and offers them opportunities to exercise, socialise, volunteer and earn qualifications and other rewards.

The tournament, will be held at Powerleague in Cardiff on Sunday 15th May between 1pm and 5pm. Alongside the event, there will be raffle with some fantastic Wales related prizes included.

All profits from the event will go to Gôl!, who will use these funds to help worthy causes in Wales’ host cities in France this summer.

Gôl! and Game On Wales are looking for teams, sponsors and raffle prizes for the event, which costs £40.00 per team.

This recreational tournament is an ideal opportunity for casual players and staff teams to participate in an organised environment, whilst raising funds for a fantastic cause!
