The Llandaff Cathedral Choral Society will be joined by the Crickhowell Choral Society and the British Sinfonietta for a performance of the Requiem by Verdi in Llandaff Cathedral on Saturday, November 15th at 7.30pm.
The performance will be conducted by Dominic Neville, who says:
“I am greatly looking forward to November 15th. In his wonderful Requiem, Verdi uses all his operatic skills of melody and drama to create an unforgettable experience for the listener. Llandaff Cathedral is, of course, the ideal place for the combined choirs and orchestra to perform this monumental work. We also have a splendid quartet of soloists, including the internationally-acclaimed mezzo-soprano Catherine King. It promises to be a very special evening, and tickets will go quickly, so I would definitely recommend booking in advance.”
Tickets, costing £12 and £15 (half price for students) are available online through the Llandaff Cathedral Choral Society’s website, or by telephone on 0333 666 3366.
You can also buy them at Garlands in High Street Llandaff, or Abergavenny Music in Cross Street, Abergavenny.
