Race for Victory

Following the huge success of the Reindeer Run last year, the first ever Race for Victory is set to be held in Whitchurch Village on the evening of Sunday 1st May.

The race will allow participants to race, run, jog or walk the 5k route, raising funds for their chosen charity or just for fun.

Organiser Marcel Mace told Living Magazines:

“We have a fantastic never-before-used route starting from Whitchurch village, through Llandaff North village, along Whitchurch Common and back into Whitchurch.”

The event race will be observed under the rules and regulations of Welsh Athletics. Runners will be timed and official results will be posted.

Starting and finishing in village, the main event area will have an electric atmosphere to help make it a really fun night for all those who attend.

All the participants will received a very special ‘Cardiff 5K’ technical T-shirt with the names of all those taking part on the back.
