Local boys shine for the Squirrels

Rhiwbina Squirrels

Rhiwbina cemented their third place in Division One East Central with a hard-fought 25-12 victory over local Cardiff rivals Rumney at Caedelyn on Saturday 31st March.

Whitchurch High School students Sion Parry and Kane Teear-Bourge were outstanding, with Parry having the man of the match accolade and Teear-Bourge scoring a superb individual try.

Other excellent tries came from Ben Sharif, Cameron Neal and Alex Cooke, with Lewis Pearce converting one and kicking a penalty.

Next home game for the Squirrels is Saturday 7th April when Porth Harlequins are the visitors.
