Get involved

Friends of Rhiwbina Library would love to hear from you if:

– you have ideas about what events could be held at Rhiwbina Library or if you have a particular skill you’d like to share;

– you’d like to hear more about activities and events by joining our mailing list; and

– if you can volunteer to support these activities – as much or as little as you’d like, to fit in with your busy lives and responsibilities.

Current volunteering opportunities

We are looking for 2-3 people to take over our successful monthly speaker events from September 2025. This includes sourcing speakers, promoting the events and event management on the night.

If you can spare just two mornings a year, why not help run our Jigsaw Library  which takes place the last Saturday morning of every month?  We have lots of jigsaws that need displaying and you can also help people choose which puzzles to borrow.

Please get in touch if you would like to get involved and help us continue these events.
