The early history of Beulah, history like your teacher never taught you, and a life in films all feature in Rhiwbina Society’s forthcoming programme in the months ahead, as follows:

21st April: The Man who built Portmeirion (Martyn Swain)
19th May: The Early Story and History of Beulah (Nigel Lewis)
16th June: History like your teacher never taught you (Phil Carradice)
21st July: My life in films (Harley Jones)

The Rhiwbina Society works to preserve the village atmosphere for which Rhiwbina is famed, and to foster a sense of community and civic pride. Established in September 1997, the Society enables members of the local community to voice their ideas in an organised and constructive way and is a respected contributor in local authority decision making.

Meetings are held in the Canolfan Beulah, Beulah Road, Rhiwbina, CF14 6AX starting at 7.30 pm. Admission is £2 for members and £4 for non-members.
