Living Magazines update January 2026

Due to a combination of unforeseen personal circumstances over the past 12 months, including close very family bereavements, periods of serious ill health, and reduced availability from a key member of our team, we have taken the considered decision to skip our Winter 2025 issues and move directly to our Spring 2026 editions.

This decision has not been taken lightly. However, it allows us to reset properly and return with issues that fully reflect the quality, consistency, and reach that both our readers and advertisers need.

Skipping Winter allows us to concentrate resources on producing a stronger, more polished Spring issue, rather than rushing to produce a sub-par edition under pressure.

We are ensuring that advertising booked for upcoming editions delivers maximum exposure and return, rather than being diluted across lower-performing Winter issues.

Extended social media promotions

If you’ve already booked for our Winter issues, we’ve already been running our free social media promotions on your behalf. These will now be extended until May to include our scheduled Spring editions.

Looking ahead

Our Spring editions will mark a fresh, confident restart for the magazines, with renewed energy, clear scheduling, and a strong focus on supporting local businesses across north Cardiff. Not doing this now would risk the magazines becoming unsustainable in the year ahead.

If you have already booked Winter advertising, we will of course ensure this is honoured, credited, or rolled forward in a way that works best for you. I’m very happy to discuss this with you personally.

On a personal level for me, it means I can give you the time and resources you deserve as a paying advertiser. I also need to look after myself. Without me, there are no magazines; sadly, I’m only human.
