Children’s Seed Sowing Day at Pugh’s Garden Village in Radyr this Easter Holiday

If you’re looking for a fun, active and educational day out for the little ones this Easter break then a Pugh’s Garden Village’s seed sowing day is a must.Taking place on Thursday 24th April, the Radyr-based garden centre’s seed sowing activity day will not only teach children some handy gardening skills, but will also provide invaluable lessons in why sustainable living is so important for a greener future in Wales. The annual event will allow children to:

• Learn the basics of planting, growing and caring for some of their favourite flowers, fruits and vegetables
• Discover where our delicious fruit and vegetables come from
• Find out why it’s so important to grow fresh fruit, vegetables and flowers

Entry to the event costs £1.50 per child and included 3 pots with compost, a choice easy-to-plant flowers, fruits or vegetables and growing instructions for both parents and children. Prior booking is not essential and sessions will run every 20 minutes from 10am until 4pm on a first come, first served basis.
